About Us
Gorilla Diving Products, Inc., was started out of necessity. After 20 years of diving-the last 5 doing deep
technical diving on a CCR-I found that there were a number of improvements on the equipment that I wanted but
was not available. I wanted reliable gear that I didn’t have to worry about at 300+ feet. So, I decided to
develop and make my own equipment; hence, the company was born.
My name is Charles Johnson, and I have done hundreds of wreck dives off the East Coast of the United States. I
have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, with over twenty years of machining and engineering experience. For
the last 5 years, I have been a Manufacturing Engineer for a major corporation specializing in Nuclear and
Fossil Power Plant Valves and Actuators Repairs.
